July 24, 2011 - Former Supercross sensation Eric Sorby will be returning to action in the 2011 X Games Endurocross on a realmotocross.com backed KX450F. The Frenchman made his way to America in 2003 to race AMA 125cc West Region Supercross series and had several heated battles with top factory riders. Eric has made his mark in the industry not only with great results as a rider but also a personality all have come to love.  At one point in his career he was a fierce competitor to James Stewart but now now Eric has been seen as the co- star in Fuel TV's "Bubba's World."

Sorby, who won the 2001, 250 French Supercross, as well as competing in the 250 World GP Motocross series, moved to America ready to make a mark.   In his early stages of his career Sorby was a threat to his competition having several podium finishes. This quickly landed him a ride on Mitch Peyton's Pro Circuit race team. "When Eric called me up and told me that he wanted to do the X-Games I told him that we'd would help him find a way to make it happen.  Everyone wants to see Eric back on the track." remarked Iain Grae, CEO of realmotocross.com. For 2011 X Games will be coming out of retirement to try his hand at the Endurocross race in Staples Center. As one of the most talented riders on a motocross bike be sure to keep your eye out for a podium finish. You can follow and become friends with Eric Sorby on realmotocross.com
