Jacob Argubright Press Release

With X Games and the entire Endurocross Season rapidly approaching, Jacob Argubright has been working his hardest to make sure that he is ready both physically and emotionally for what is about to happen to the off road community.  In just over 3 days, the entire world is about to be made aware of "Off Road Racing" and the phenomenon that is Endurocross.  But while he works his hardest to prepare both at the Gym and on the Track, a whole slew of behind the scenes work has gone into make him successful for the 2011 Endurocross season.

Sponsorship will be key to having a competitive year in the Geico/AMA Endurocross Championship hunt, and as any racer knows, having the best equipment plays a key role in getting yourself up on the podium. With support from across the industry, Jacob Argubright and his 2012 Off Road Support Kawasaki have the odds at their highest for an impressive performance at the 2011 X Games this weekend.

Kawasaki of Simi Valley stepped up to the plate with a brand new race bike, and although it looks great right out of the box, Mechanic Ed Villanueva will have his work cut out for him if he wants to have the bike ready to race come Sunday morning.

"What people don't understand is that we basically rebuild the entire bike to make it race ready. Everything from suspension to tires, and from the footpegs to an exhaust system must be replaced to make the bike competitive against all of the factory teams. "

Over the next 24 hours "Eddie V" will completely rebuild the bike so that Jacob can break in the motor and have it ready to go for the X games. With help from FMF Racing, Pro Moto Billet, Fastway, Rekluse, BRP, IMS, Kal-Gard, UFO Plastics, Dirt Digits, Dunlop Tires, and of course Travis from TBT Racing, the 2012 Kawasaki will be transformed into one of the fastest, lightest, most aggressive off road race bikes in the industry.

"I really can't thank the sponsors enough. From the pipes that the FMF team sent, to the awesome accents that the bike will have from the guys at Pro Moto Billet, I know that I will have one of the best bikes out there this weekend. The funniest part is that I was planning on racing my old '09 250F, but I came home from the gym this morning and John from KSV had the bike sitting there in the garage to surprise my dad and I.  I can't wait to show the world what Endurocross is all about and there is no better way of doing it then through an event like X Games!"

Watch the X Games live all weekend on ESPN and ESPN2 with the Endurocross action starting at 9PM Eastern.  Visit www.jacob911.com for updated info and photos from the 2011 X Games weekend.
