Ducati's Filippo Preziosi talks about the team's MotoGP future with Rossi and Nicky Hayden in an exclusive interview

Filippo Preziosi has worked with some great riders, but none like this one.

The genius behind the Ducati Desmosedici is greatly looking forward to working with Valentino Rossi, the nine-time World Champion who’s moving to the Ducati Marlboro squad for the next two years.

Preziosi has certainly enjoyed his time with Casey Stoner—together they won the 2007 MotoGP World Championship, along with 23 GP wins—as well as Nicky Hayden, who inspires him with his hard work and devotion. But having a fellow Italian, and possibly the greatest rider of all time on his creation, is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Preziosi.

Rossi will get his first taste of the 2011 Desmosedici GP11 at Valencia test just after the November 7 season finale after Yamaha granted Rossi permission to test on the Australian Grand Prix weekend. With only two days to test prior to the winter break, it’s essential they gather as much information as possible before building the 2011 race bike.
