Fantasy Preview: Edwards rolls into finale with momentum

With the shadows getting long and the sun sinking into the West, and just beyond the first turn at Phoenix International Raceway, a despondent Denny Hamlin sat in the media center and bravely answered questions. With 15 laps remaining, Hamlin was racing for the win in an event he dominated for much of the afternoon. He had last pitted with 77 laps remaining and could not go the distance without fuel, so he was forced to duck onto pit road, get a splash of gas and two right-side tires, and subsequently fell back to 19th.
