Want to watch some action from the Formula Drift event at Irwindale this past weekend but don't have much time? No worries, we've got you covered. Photographer Larry Chen (yes, the same guy that made that epic video of himself and his buddy stuck at DFW airport) has packed the entire two days into a two-and-a-half-minute time lapse video that gives a good idea of what it's like during the Formula Drift finale.

In the midst of his official duties of shooting the event for several race teams and SpeedHunters.com, Chen used a single Canon T3i and two wide angle lenses to shoot more than 13,000 images of the track, the pits, the media center, the judging tower at 25 second intervals. He event went as far as strapping his camera onto some of the cars during practice to get footage of the cars in action. Hit the jump to watch the video for yourself.
