Taddy Blazusiak Media Service 2011 – News Release
Polish indoor enduro star Taddy Blazusiak has claimed his fourth consecutive win of the 2011 AMA Endurocross series, placing his 350cc KTM Enduro Factory Team machine on the top step of the podium in convincing style in Ontario, CA. The dominant rider in the championship heading into the event, Blazusiak again showed why he’s the rider to beat as a near perfect night saw him top the Hot Lap session, win his qualifying heat race, before comfortably claiming the win in the main event.

Spending little time on a bike following his participation in the penultimate round of the Enduro World Championship held in Andorra, Taddy arrived at the fourth round of the Endurocross tour with high hopes of maintaining his winning ways. The fastest rider on track from the first practice session, Blazusiak remained as the night’s fastest competitor topping the Hot Laps session, comfortably winning his heat race, before firing out of the start gate and into what would soon become a comfortable lead in the main event. Making one mistake mid-way through the final, Taddy needed less than two laps to rebuild his lead, claiming the chequered flag some 10 seconds ahead of his nearest rival. Taddy now holds a 39-point advantage at the top of the 2011 Endurocross points standings.
Round five of the 2011 Endurocross series takes place at the National Western Complex in Denver, CO, on October 1.
Taddy: “Just about everything was great this weekend, I really couldn’t have asked for anything more. From the start of the first practice session I felt great and the more time I spent on the track the more I was sure I could win.
I’d not spent too much time on a bike after the Enduro World Championship race I competed in two weeks ago but it didn’t make any difference to my riding. The first and second practice sessions both went really well and then I got a time two seconds faster than anyone in the Hot Laps session, which was great. I knew that as long as I didn’t make any mistakes I’d be able to claim another main event win. Things went well in my qualifying race – my bike was awesome and I felt really strong. Getting the holeshot in the main event really made things much easier for me. I made one silly mistake, which meant I lost the advantage I’d opened up, but it wasn’t long before I was clear out front again. It was a great night. I have a pretty good points lead now so I’ll just keep pushing at the next round and see what happens.”
